When Brian, Julia, and I met for coffee last winter to discuss their wedding photography, I knew we'd be a great match. They were planning an August wedding at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, and it sounded just like heaven on that bitter cold December day. Their wedding day a few weeks back was as beautiful as I had imagined.
Julia and Brian are both incredibly warm and family-centered people, and it was evident how happy each of the guests were for the couple. The ceremony and cocktail hour was enjoyed outside until guests were ushered inside a hall with maple wood beams and windows overlooking the gardens. It's hard to say whether the sweetest touches were their decision to include a trio of tiny cousins in the wedding party, the sweet array of Scratch-baked birthday cakes at each table, hand-made skiers atop the wedding cake, or the moment of recognition for the bride's grandparents who are over seventy years married. Best wishes, Julia and Brian, enjoy a sneak peek of your wedding photos!
