The farmhouse my family moved into when I was four years old was my first true love. I loved her from her wooden beams, to the horsehair plaster walls, and all the way down to her sloping wooden floorboards. I loved the way the stairs creaked when I ran up them, and how the doors would never quite close properly. Farmhouses are my love language, and that is why I was beyond excited to document this sweet family in their own farmhouse. I really do believe a house is an extension of the family that lives inside, and I love when I get to honor that during a session.
